mengambil gambar bayi dalam hari menggunakan kamera dengan tepat tanpa gegaran sipi memang mustahil. sebab bayi dalam hari bukanlah sebiji buah zaitun tak berbiji. bayi merupakan makhluk kecil mungil yang mana kesihatan dalam hari-hari awal kelahiran begitu rapuh, yang mengundang kerunsingan ibu bapa (juga saudara terdekat) setiap detik saat. bayi manusia dalam hari juga boleh menangis dengan tiba-tiba semudah petikan suis, selain berkebolehan berjaga dari tengah malam hingga ke dinihari. (hey ini bukan salah keturunan berjaga malam ya). ajaib bukan? jadi macam manalah mama sempat nak update facebook mama? nasib baiklah mama ni ada kebolehan menaip post blog menggunakan tangan kiri sambil tangan kanan mengampu bayi seberat 3.7kg menyusu. hoho.

when i was in form three (that was in 1999. jadi cuba teka umur saya <--tak berkaitan) one of my fellow classmate nearly lost his finger while using a circular saw (kelas kemahiran hidup. u klas apa? ai klas pertanian <--lagi perkara tak berkaitan). the bloody massacre (gila exaggerate) happened right in front of my eyes. luckily he survived while i myself suffered from post-traumatic syndrome sehingga takut menggunakan mesin-mesin pemotong berelektrik <-- sbnarnya nak cakap saya cintakan pisau pemotong n-t cutter bermata serong.

projek bayi #3. hanging mobile. terima kasih kpd pisau pemotong berjasa akhirnya dpt hasilkan kepingan kayu balsa berbentuk bulatan (hampir) sempurna.

pwincess and the pea. eh salah. peas in a pod.

we had calamari, corn, wedges and cucumber + peas salad for lunch. fresh peas taste a lot lot nicer than frozen packed ones. so if u have time do pick some fresh ones in pods. blanch them for a few minutes, toss some sliced cucumber and a bit of mayo, pepper n salt to taste. the peas; they just burst with fresh sweetness.

tembikai, tembikai. i just love tembikaiii!!! nak buat painting, but im out of empty canvas. just a simple illustration. and, akhirnya..spring is here. though its been a bit rainy these few days, theres been nice sunny mornings too. i've been itching to go out to see the blooming flowers, but my partner in crime biziiiiiii manjang. ahad pun layan assignment yek. how's your ramadhan so far? just a few days left for hari raya. how time flies. raya preparation biasa2 je disini, yg nak beraya bersama pun tak ramai. bleh kire ngan jari kaki jek. hihi. looking foward for raya and more sunny days, eating big slices of tembikai by the breezy beach :)

minggu lepas berlalu dengan agak sunyi. hanya membuat beberapa aktiviti yang berjaya menghiburkan diri pada tahap minimum. menonton 9 buah filem secara berulang2 untuk menghilangkan bosan. mungkin suhu victoria yg tak menentu mempengaruhi psikologi penduduk sekitarnya. 700+ rumah terbakar, dan beberapa ekor kuda dan lembu hilang tempat bergantung dengan sekelip mata. bushfire sana sini. mesti penat kerja jadik bomba kat sini kan. semalam berjaya menghabiskan menonton project runway australia secara lengkap semua episode dalam masa satu hari. malam pula pergi makan masala dosai dan beriani ayamyamyam.

baik. seterusnya ialah melayan tag daripada cik hazira.

enam belas perkara tentang diri sendiri.

1) menerima seekor kura kura pd harijadi ke 20/21? yg dinamakan kai yg kemudiannya mati sebelum kai smpt menyambut harijadinya sendiri. (sori hafez/zul, aku siap tanam kangkung kat kolam studio utk die. die mati diluar jagaan aku. sob sob.)

2) boleh mabuk seterusnya pingsan kalau melihat darah. ataupun darah dlm muvi. seriusly. nyutnyutnyut kepalaku pusing.

3) ditimpa eksiden kaki tesepit tayar kereta lame abah (mazda 808, seberat kereta kebal ww2) tuh la degil lagi takmo duduk seat depan. kejadian ini disaksikan oleh seluruhhhhhh budak2 skolah agama gunung lambak sesi petang yg sedang beratur dlm perhimpunan. (seronokla korg tengok live performance eh)

4) obses kepada kertas tidak bergaris berwarna offwhite.

5) obses terhadap cerita cerita khayalan spt heri potter, spiderwick, narnia dan semua cerita yg ada makhluk comel ajaib.

6) hasilnya, mempunyai imaginasi yang tidak terbendung sehingga menyusahkan diri sendiri. (imaginasi ini bertambah inovatif pada waktu malam atau ketika berseorangan)

7) penakut gila. this relates back to the sixth fact.

8) sering mempunyai masalah utk tidur. again, it relates back to the sixth fact.

9) crush paling lama yg pernah dihidapi adalah selama 6 (ENAM) tahun. ak ak ak ak ak. enough said.

10) tidak mempercayai cinta monyet. semua cinta perlu menjadi cinta sejati.

11) mencintai kellogs rice krispies, lollipop dan matahari. sape tak?

12) mencintai suami dan keluarga sendiri. itu harus.

13) movie pertama yg ditonton adalah beauty and the beast. back in 1993. panggung wayang klasik di kluang (beli popcorn, percuma lipas).

14) mengalami sindrom2 obsessive compulsive disorder tahap pertama. kadang2 ia sungguh memenatkan. mungkin ia trait keturunan.

15) 1/4 chinese. shahril pun. jadik nanti our future children akan jadi 1/2 chinese lah kan?

16) lemah matematik. (lihat fakta ke 14) (sebenarnya 15. haih memang lemah)

finally shahril's assesments r over. finally. aihh betapa susahnya nk menguatkan hati menghabiskan objek2 aneh utk sebuah assesment. especially when theres not much ppl in d class, n they r not working in a design studio ( i sooooooo missed studio life eventho its kind of smelly hahihoho). poor hubby he's kind of miserable towards d day of d prezentation. but thank god evrything is completed by morning, n his project turn out pretty good. :) . so, we r sooooo gonna spoil ourselves this few months ( FEW MONTHS). hahahoho. yesterdy we've alrdy rented some movies (i finally get to watch sex n the city d movie). we rented house season 3 (gregory house reminds me much of encik muta'ali othman, tp house adalah lebih hensem dgn mata birunya. sori cik tat. hahahohoho). we also managed to get something for ourselves from the op shop yesterday :

dont u guys just love old books? d illustrations, d yellowish paper, d smell. kan kan. except for the silverfish. ekhheuw. i run out of books to read alrdy. im not actually a serious reader, just to fill in free time when not sewing or sleeping or youtubing antm. when i was little i used to read enid blyton's (d folk of faraway tree, d cat with a feathery tail, n lots more), and there's harry potter and some stephen king's at home. i choose books to read depending by their cover (most of them have white background for d cover hohohoho). what kind of book interests you?

i think dis map is not dat old pun. maybe he's even a repro. tapi die menarik sebagai plan jangka panjang (for our house which has not even exist). d shop sells dis for $2.50, but upon paying, d shopkeeper gave us discount becoz d map is torn. jadik kami hanya bayar 50cent utk map ini. hahahohohihihi.

plan-plan lain utk cuti kali ini adalah seperti berikut :

1) pergi berbaring2 di pasir di pantai sambil men'tan' kan kulit dgn cahaya uv

2) bercucuk tanam dan menebang pokok2 buluh di belakang rumah

3) mengemaskini laman dihadapan rumah

4) meng'make over' blog sendiri dan blog kumpat yg dh bersawang

5) dan bemacam2 lagi

jadik itu sahaja utk review pembelian op shop kali ini. esok kami akan meneruskan my aussie adventure kami ke ballarat utk jalan jalan cari kanggaru bersama rakan2 sepermainan yg lain. if possible, im gonna check poket kanggaru utk zati, sama ada ia benar2 wujud dan bagaimanakah rupa sebenarnya. eda pula akan menyahut cabaran mencium beruang koala (aku tuntut haa). kayla mungkin akan memperagakan kostum kanggaru bersama pasangan sehidup sematinya, radzi. baik, sehingga ketemu di lebaran diari elektronik yg lain. enjoy ur weekend ya. ciao!

i used to go to art class when i was a little. to be specific, when i was in standard two, going into standard three. that was about 16 years ago. whoa. 16. i went for the class up until i was 15. me and my brother were among the few malays in the class, and we were also the ones lasted that long. our teacher is a Chinese teacher, Mr Kong. a very good teacher, that's why he is also fierce. huhuhu. imagine that when he sneeze, everybody in the class would jump in suprise (or is it in shock?), including his wife, which is also his assistant. yeap, he's that type of good teacher, who would discipline you well. he would tear up your drawing homework just-like-that if you didnt finish the drawing. scary huh. yeah some of the students would end up crying, but that is his way to discpline them. and thanks for his teaching and the way he educates us, we are good in what we do best; drawings and artsy stuff. The art class was once every week, which was saturday night. Oh i can still remember how i hate Saturdays that time, as i would have to finish one drawing as a homework from the previous week. And if we were travelling to relatives house, my parents would make sure that we would be back home before the class. Sometimes when i'm rajin enough, i would finish my drawing earlier so that i would have time to go to pasar malam and watch doraemon a bit before going to class (the class was at 730pm, i think ). hehe. makan apam balik and jagung rebus rush2 mandi sembahyang magrib then go to class. i missed those days :).

and after that time, i dont really paint that much (draw banyak lah. draw sampah sarap itu ini conteng sana conteng sini). ada lah sekeping dua lukis gambar kucing lukis gambar tahpaper, but never a complete canvas drawing. sampailah satu hari nih, before i fly to melbourne, Mr Kong and Mrs Linda came to my house. (My family and his are actually quite close, muhibbah kan? hihi). Then masa borak2 tuh he said, 'Y dont u paint anymore?'. Trus i dont know what to answer. Ntahla cikgu, saya pun tak tau knapa saya tak melukis. mungkin saya nak jadik ahli musik, bukan pelukis. Hihihihi. tak funny huh. Ye lah, after all those years u have been drawing, then the teacher came to house and he didnt see a single drawing pun on the wall. mungkin saya rasa lukisan saya buruk sbb tuh saya tak mo gantung cikgu. Ataupun melukis bukan lah passion saya? atau sebenarnya hobi saya memancing? salahhh! sebenarnya awak nih malas! hihihihi!! *malu dgn diri sendiri*

Jadi untuk membuktikan ketidak malasan saya, dan oleh kerana saya baaaaaaanyakk sangat masa terluang kerana saya ini menganggur (sape ada keje kosong di melben sila sms ke 6014 13270461 ), maka saya pun berjaya (yes yesss!) menghabiskan sebuah lukisan malas yg bertajuk kisah rama-rama dan pengembara. tipu jek. tajuk sebenar dia adalah seperti dibawah. sekian sahaja episode ehwal islam kita kali ini, sehingga berjumpa lagi di minggu hadapan. wabillahitaufik walhidayah wassalamualaikum warahmatullah hiwabarakatuh. *arabic music continues then fade*

winter greetings from us in prahran! hello dearest frens. yup, we are now safe n snuggling under warm quilt in prahran, melbourne. hehehhe. sejukkkkk sgt kat cni. its one month plus away from spring. nope, theres no snow here, just wind and very minimum sunlight everyday. smtimes it wuld rain sending more shivers to the bone.
just wanna share with you guys some pictures of our 2nd home here. heee..
we'll start of with chapel street. jom jalan jalan!

okay, dis is smwhere along chapel street. kat cnila terletaknye deretan bermacam2 kedai dari kafe, kdai baju. kdai kasut dan segala macam kedai. kat sini banyak kedai 2nd hand atau nama glemernye op shop. memang trend kat sini recycle brg2. kuasa membeli agak besar disini berbanding kat mesia. and nilai matawang pun agak besar. wif 30dollar dh cukup nk beli brg mkn buat stok 4 5 hari. kat op shop nih korg bleh carik brg2 drpd baju, buku, aksesori smpailah ke brg umah. so if u r lucky and rajin enough, u might find a good bargain here. gambar last tuh actually kat high street, nama die asian groceries, one of the shop where u culd find asian cooking ingredients including canned pork. hehehehe.

yang ni plak, chapel street bazaar. pun kat chapel street. its like a big op shop, cuma die lebih kpd kdai vintage. if u r a vintage fan, u shuld prbbly go here to splurge. drpd furniture, telefon lama, baju2, aksesories, smpailah kat pinggan mangkuk. nasib baiklah ktorg nih tak berduit, kalau tak dh habes dh borong sume bnda dari sini.

next is the prahran market. ingatkan pegi pasar dpt beli barang murah, rupa2nya lagi mahal! cheh! gambar 1st tuh kat tgh2 market, ada open area and some cafes utk lepak2 makan sambil tggu isteri2 memborong. and the 2nd picture is to show u guys how fresh the fruits and veggies here. tapi takde close up picture la plak.hihih. and gmbr last yg ada koridor berjubin biru coklat tuh ialah meat n seafood section die. takde tong polistrin berlumut utk isi ikan. everything here is clean, fresh and err...pricey. hihihih. yg boleh kitorg beli kat sini is ayam lilydale and lambchop. tuh jek daging halal yg ada. kot2 nk makan beef, kne pi jauh sket kat brunswick.

ok, enough jalan2, jom blk umah.

this is thomas street. d brown building is part of the swinburne university, n kat sberang jalan tulah terletaknye rumah ktorg. the next picture will visualise how close our house is to d university.

ni lah 1/33, thomas street, prahran. umah ni actually umah lama taun 1930-an. tp dalam umah elok jek dah di renovate dek tuan rumah encik theodore. umah ni actually 2 storey, we are renting yg ground floor. takle letih nak menapak naik tangga hari2. ada 2 bilik tidur, 1 ruang tamu, 1 bathroom and 1 furnished kitchen. jom masuk.

atas tuh gmbar ruang tamu yg masih kosong. bilik kitorg tak dpt dirakam sbb menjaga privasi.hihihi. 2nd picture nih kat tgh2 umah. dpn tuh pintu masuk, kiri bilik sheikh (owh ya we are sharing together wif shahril's fren), kanan ruang tamu, and you are having this view from our room.

ini pulak kitchen yg messy sbb takde maid.hihihih. kitchen nih lengkap ngan dapur, bar wif 2 bar stool, kabinet ngan stove. fridge jek tarak.

jadik bolehla ktorg main masak2. jom,kita makan duluuuu!!!!!!!!! hihihihihi.

hello frens!

it seems ages since my last post. its been very busy this few months (short sleep, tiring weekends, boring office days and fun fun fun we had preparing for the wedding.yeay!).

so we've been busy making crystal flowers, cutting and tying ribbons of colourful shades for the gifts and bunga telur.

but anyway, this weekend im joining the Art for Grabs bazaar at the central market. ill be sharing a booth with my frens Yong Fadzli and Shahir who are selling batik stuff.

so, do come along with a fren or two or three or just bring all your family members along yah.

i'll be selling the super cute felt dolls; i have 3 new character added ; le frog, pingu and mr mice. 50 dolls nicely packed to be brought home for yourself our your lovely girlfren(s) and sisters! ehehehe.

hello guys, greetings.hav u had ur lunch? im having sandwich today. really dnt know what to eat.

so i just went downstairs n grab a sandwich at subway. spicy italian.honey oat bread, pepperoni n salami, lettuce, bell peppers, cucumber, cheese n some sauce n mayo. no olives plz.

ok ok enough wif d sandwich story, im bringing you guys the karipap story!

ehehehe. karipap a.k.a curry puff, a traditional delicacy from italy. nah, im just bluffing.

i think most of you do lovvve karipap.especially hot ones.choose any filling you like; sardines, meat, chicken, potatoes, and some even like egg currypuffs. (i wonder how they taste!)

my favourite currypuff is those made by my youngest auntie.meat currypuffs.wif pieces of meat between the spicy-curry-flavoured potato fillings.and the crust.ummmm.yummy.crispy yet soft inside.theres also a makcik at my neighbourhood selling good currypuffs.3 pieces for rm1.cheap huh? no wonder everybody loves them.

if you are one of the currypuff lover, i hope you like these currypuff plushies too! they are made from shades of brown felt, hand stiched, stuffed with polyester fillings (i wish i could put real potatoes inside). and d most fun part is, even the frills are stuffed! ehehe. gives you a more realistic feeling, rite?

there are 4 colours to choose from, i mean, 4 currypuffs to choose from; karipap mentah, separuh masak, terlebih masak & karipap yg tak dapat diselamatkan lagi (hangus dah).ehehehehehe.enjoy!

hye everyone.its been a long holiday.new year is here again.n i had a good rest back in hometown for about, err, lemme count,..wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday, monday, and extra 1 day yesterday.hehe.that makes it a week! wahh.no wonder it is so so hard to get out from d bed yesterday.how was ur holiday?

well, here i am, back again in kl today.sighh~~

this new year also comes wif new creatures!

featured on top is 10 little creatures about thumbsize (giant's thumb ehehe) i made a few days back.

there's mr wabbit, the fiery moster (which supposed to be a fish!),mr moose, mr moo, chicky, mimi d monyet, wooly d sheep, jee d girrafe, kat, and birdieblue!

all dolls r made of colourful felt fabric, hand sewn with embroidery detailings.

d photoshoot was made in tasik cyberjaya, n thanx fadzli for d camera (i have to get one a.s.a.p ehehe).it was a lovly photoshoot + picnic wif my darling (mmwahh).

i've been sewing and making crafts fo years, but none of it has been documented or photograph. (sigh~~).and most of the dolls goes to private possession of my close frens (hey guys, u still keep them do u?). everyday i would spent hours drooling over the design blogs (my favs are printpattern, decor8, heather baileys n so much much more u'll feel bloated with madness and fondness over their stuff).so i was thinking, why dont i make my own one?
